Shadia and her family were blessed with the unique opportunity to take part in an Internationally aired Reality TV Show, called "All American Muslim" which aired on TLC in 2011. Watching the behind the scenes photographer capture these memorable moments created a spark inside her. It was then, that she realized she wanted to become a photographer. She bought her first camera (Canon Rebel t3i) on her birthday in 2012.

Shadia entered her first Art show in 2017 at the Downriver Council for the Arts in Wyandotte, MI, where she placed 3rd for the Black and White Category. She received several Honorable Mentions on her other images entered.

In 2018, Shadia entered the Dearborn Padzieski Gallery Art show, where she placed 2nd in Digitally-Altered Category.

 

 Shadia was fortunate enough to be chosen as part of the TedX Detroit Photography Team in 2018 at the Masonic Temple Detroit.

She was selected to be a part of the Amazing TedX Detroit Photography Team again in 2019.

It has been a phenomenal experience shooting from center stage in front of a 5k audience.

Tedx Detroit will take place at Ford Field Detroit in 2022 where the photography team will be shooting in front of a 10-15k Audience!

 

Shadia was offered an opportunity to show her images at a Satellite Art Gallery at the Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in Wyandotte, MI.

Her 18 piece Art Gallery was on display at the hospital, between the Hospital's Cafe and the Conference rooms from January 2020 through June 2021.

 

In February 2020, Shadia was hired to be the photographer for an upcoming Lifetime Movie Titled "Secrets in the Snow."

Her images were used to create the Movie poster and IMDB. The Movie Trailer debuted in July 2020 and aired in December 2020. 

 

Shadia's Photography work was Nationally Published several times in 2021.

Her Branding session with DELL technologies and Robert Courtney Collins (Via Excelerate America) was sent out to over 25k Dell Computer clients Nationwide.

She was also Nationally Published twice in the Inspiring Teens Magazine Publication that highlights and awards scholarships to amazing Seniors all across the Country!

Shadia was Interviewed several times via The San Diego Voyager Magazine (2018 & 2020) as well as The Michigan Voyage Magazine Publication (2021).

 

It has been an honor to take part in so many wonderful publications.
